​Working in black and white has always been a strong part of my photography practice and together with a love of the land, this has been my focus over recent years.

 

Belonging to the artist group Walking the Land has reinforced this love of landscape, in it’s many forms, and has also encouraged me to work with digital media, once a total no-go for me with my love of film but now an acceptable part of my image making.

 

My first choice would always be, and has always been, those film based projects where care is taken over each and every shot.
